Solo

You're joining a team that already has its substrate set up. You want your personal Claude on top of the shared one. Storage: your team's git repo.

Team-admin

You're the substrate champion for your team. You'll set up the shared substrate, design conventions, brief IT, and onboard colleagues. If that's not you, the team plugin is what you want.
